The Opportunity

The F&A Enablement Manager provides dedicated focus on process improvement, systems optimization, and operational leverage across Finance and Accounting. This role enables the function to scale efficiently by maximizing the value of existing tools, data, and resources while reducing friction and manual work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives across Finance and Accounting, with an emphasis on standardization, simplification, and scalability.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance leaders to identify pain points and design practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Optimize usage of existing financial systems, reporting tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Drive adoption of automation, analytics, and AI‑enabled tools to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
  • Support change management and capability building to ensure new processes and tools are embedded successfully.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and other partners on system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, controls, and training materials related to Finance & Accounting processes.
  • Track and communicate the impact of enablement initiatives, including efficiency gains and risk reduction.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting process improvement, or finance transformation.
  • Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting workflows and system dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement or enablement initiatives.
  • Comfort leveraging data, automation, and AI‑enabled tools to drive outcomes.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder‑influence skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a changing, fast‑paced environment.

The VIP is based upon Valvoline Inc. financial performance and provides a payout opportunity on an annual fiscal year basis (October 1 through September 30) and will be pro-rated from date of hire.
