The Opportunity
The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a strategic, hands-on advisor to leaders managing large frontline teams and broader corporate populations. This role partners with leaders to translate business needs into scalable people strategies that strengthen performance, retention, compliance, and employee experience.
This is a remote role with occasional travel; ideal candidates will reside in or near Lexington, Kentucky to best support team alignment and operational partnership
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Partner with leaders of high-volume frontline teams to shape workforce plans (staffing models, capacity, and org health) aligned to business goals.
- Coach leaders on the full manager lifecycle (performance, accountability, engagement, and leader effectiveness), including complex and sensitive situations.
- Lead and influence core talent processes at scale (talent reviews, succession, compensation planning, performance cycles, and workforce transitions), ensuring strong leader ownership and quality outcomes.
- Own complex employee relations work in high-volume environments, including investigations, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation in partnership with Employee Relations and Legal.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to design and deploy programs that are practical for frontline leaders, compliant, and consistent across the business.
- Use workforce insights (turnover, absenteeism, hiring speed, engagement, labor cost) to diagnose root causes, recommend interventions, and measure impact.
- Influence and reinforce a fair, inclusive, and values-driven culture through leader capability building, consistent practices, and clear expectations.
- Lead change efforts (team growth, role clarity, process improvements, and new technology adoption) with a focus on communications, leader readiness, and sustained behavior change.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred); or equivalent experience
- 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP/generalist experience supporting high-volume frontline teams and/or complex client groups
- Strong employee relations foundation, including investigations, policy interpretation, wage-and-hour considerations, and application of employment law in hourly environments
- Demonstrated capability across core HRBP/generalist disciplines (coaching, facilitation, project/program leadership, and change management)
- Executive-ready communication skills and confidence delivering clear, practical guidance in fast-moving, ambiguous situations
- Ability to manage competing priorities, influence without authority, and build trusted relationships across levels
- Experience using HR systems and workforce data to identify trends, build business cases, and guide decision-making
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
