The Opportunity
As the organization's B2B marketing subject matter expert, this Marketing Manager, B2B & Commercial Sales, leads growth strategies across Fleet, Business Development, Franchise Recruitment, Store Acquisition, and Express Care. Working closely with commercial, franchise, customer, and marketing leaders, the role identifies growth opportunities, translates business priorities into actionable strategies, and drives measurable business results through customer insights, analytics, and strategic marketing investments.
How You'll Make a Difference
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic growth agenda for Fleet, Business Development and Express Care. Partner with commercial and operational leaders to identify growth opportunities, establish priorities, and develop integrated strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth
- Partner with Fleet Sales leadership to support local and national fleet sales initiatives. Develop marketing programs, sales enablement tools, and communications that help drive commercial account acquisition across the network.
- Translate customer insights into differentiated messaging, content strategies, and media campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value for Fleet and Business Development.
- Champion innovation, marketing technology, and emerging capabilities that improve lead generation, customer engagement, campaign performance, and sales effectiveness. Evaluate and implement new MarTech solutions, automation tools, data platforms, and digital capabilities that support Fleet and B2B growth objectives
- Lead performance analytics and business intelligence efforts by monitoring key leading and lagging indicators, evaluating marketing and commercial performance, identifying growth opportunities, and translating insights into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Lead and develop a team of two marketers, including one dedicated to Fleet Marketing and one supporting Business Development and Express Care. Provide coaching, prioritization, performance management, and career development while ensuring resources are aligned to the highest-impact growth opportunities.
- Manage annual budgets, agencies and overall efficiency of marketing spend.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required or 5+ years of experience.
- B2B marketing (Direct response and brand), Retail Services or Hospitality.
- Franchise engagement and familiarity.
- Supporting Sales Organizations.
