The Opportunity

The CAD and Image Designer 2 will support the Retail Services business by creating and distributing Conceptual Site Plans, Site Overlays, Site Criteria Checklists, Signage Layout Drawings, Prototype Design Sketches & Plans, Exhibits, and Special Projects for Corporate locations, Franchise locations, Acquisitions, Existing Stores and the Real Estate and Legal Departments. The CAD and Image Designer 2 is responsible for maintaining and distributing all Prototype documents and files for all internal partners as well as external resources on a semi-annual basis. The CAD and Image Designer 2 will also oversee all CAD Standards and file naming conventions for VIOC Retail Services.

The CAD and Image Designer 2 must be able to work in an open team environment, fluent in AutoCAD 2023, have a good understanding of imperial and metric systems, be able to read and interpret Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project), ability to travel less than 10% of the time. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the creation of Conceptual Site Plans and Site Criteria Checklists
• Prototype document management and distribution
• Prepare for and lead the weekly CSP Kickoff calls with outside A/E Consultants, and VIOC Team members from Real Estate, Pre-Construction, and Construction
• Creation of Signage Layout Drawings and Color Renderings
• Special Projects/Exbibits/New Design Sketches
• Creation/Management of VIOC CAD Standards
• CAD and Image Designer 2 will interact with all levels of the Retail Development group and external Architects and Engineers

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Architectural Technology or comparable degree
•  2-5 Years in comparable field
•  AutoCAD 2023, Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
• Revit a plus but not required
• Must be authorized to work in the US
