ROLE OVERVIEW: What you’ll do to drive success
The HD Customer Service Advisor (CSA) will act as the primary liaison between the Customer, Technician, and the Service Manager. They will be responsible for scheduling service requests, greeting customers, documenting vehicle issues, providing repair estimates, and communicating progress via phone/email to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient workflow. The HD CSA will partner with HD Parts Specialist, Technicians, and HD Business Operations Manager to ensure estimates are being approved and parts are being ordered in a timely manner. They will also assist with sourcing/ordering parts and obtaining approvals when needed.
As an HD CSA, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering the phone and greeting customers when they come to the service center for service, schedule service request/follow ups with customers/Technicians, document vehicle issues, build service order estimates and update customers on repair progress to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient workflow.
- Identify additional services needed for the vehicle by partnering with the technicians to review vehicle inspection and/or by entering the vehicle into the FMC portal
- Submit service orders for approval through POS system and/or FMC portal
- Work with preferred vendors to source parts needed for service orders. Receive parts and return parts not needed to the correct vendor.
- Help to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

QUALIFICATIONS: What you’ll need to keep moving forward

We seek team members with:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Schedule flexibility
- An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
We expect you can:
- Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Grip 25-40 pounds of force
- Work near moving equipment, and in an area with limited access
- Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
- Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
