The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Sr. Hybrid Mobile Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a new mobile application that will serve both our customers and employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in responsive design and be an expert in Kotlin Multiplatform, React, or Flutter. Experience with both iOS and Android platforms is essential.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Develop and maintain a hybrid mobile application using Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, or Flutter.
- Extensive experience designing websites that are responsive and provide a seamless user experience across various devices.
- Develop and optimize the application for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current and competitive.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required
- Minimum of five years of proven experience in hybrid mobile development using Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, or Flutter
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices
- Extensive experience with both iOS and Android development
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
