The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to Valvoline Retail Services Maintenance staff. These responsibilities include executing purchase order requisitions and goods receipt process; reconciling spend and providing required organizational reports; preparing AFEs for capital needs; ensuring documentation is compliant with organizational requirements; providing support to the Maintenance staff on assigned special projects; and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.

How You'll Make a Difference

• Execute purchase order and goods receipt process.
• Reconcile of capital budgets, including acquisition remodel projects and major capital spending on the existing store portfolio.
• Provide required organizational reports.
• Prepare AFEs for capital needs.
• Capital appropriation and reconciliation of AFEs
• Ensure documentation is compliant with organizational requirements.
• Provide support to Maintenance staff for assigned special projects and service platform rollouts.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
• Work with internal departments and 3rd party vendors to create speed and efficiency in processes, while balancing needs and risks for the organization.
  

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
• Minimum of three years of accounting or business administration related experience
• Excellent organizational, budget management, and communication skills
• Comprehensive understanding of processes, tasks, and documentation required for retail construction
• Experience with Excel and SAP
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
