Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support operations by maintaining Service Center equipment. Must be self- motivated to learn new machines and take initiative on performing maintenance tasks to maximize production time.

Job responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate consistency in working well with people, store personnel and senior management
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
• Light electrical skills preferred (changing lights, replacing outlets, switches, etc.)
• Light plumbing skills
• Loading and unloading building materials
• Operate large powered machinery and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, blowtorches, pressure cleaners, jackhammers and power tools)
• Operate construction-related equipment (e.g., driving trucks or forklifts/manlifts)
• Must demonstrate consistency in quality of work in tank installations, lifts, generators, pumps, garage door repairs and lube services equipment
• Must be able to multi-task and have strong organizational skills
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

Successful candidates for the role of Facilities Maintenance Technician are highly motivated, skilled maintenance technicians who are able to solve problems on site. Our Facilities Maintenance Technicians have vast knowledge and skills and go above and beyond in providing a high level of service in our service centers.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work in all types of weather
• Have full body mobility, able to twist, turn, bend at waist, squat and go up and down stairs
• Able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time

Additional requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years' experience in general maintenance repairs
• Preferred experience with hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic
• Ability to pass a background check and DMV check
• Daily travel between job sites and out of state travel as needed
