The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as an Accounts Payable Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee the accounts payable process, manage a team, ensure accurate invoice processing and payments, implement internal controls, and provide financial reports to management.

How You'll Make a Difference

• Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of discrepancies.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide training and guidance to accounts payable staff.
• Review and approve payment batches before processing.
• Analyze accounts payable data and provide financial reports to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
  

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• Proven experience in accounts payable
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory role
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
