The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Senior Specialist, Incubation Enablement. In this role, you will lead and guide new business opportunities within an organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enable successful incubation pilots across various business functions. This includes designing and delivering change management programs, identifying areas for improvement, and driving the adoption of new processes and technologies. You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in, develop training programs, and measure the impact of pilot efforts. Additionally, you will provide leadership and support to project teams, facilitate communication, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise in change management, organizational development, and project management will drive impactful future initiatives.


This is a hybrid role and can be based in Lexington, KY, or Dallas, TX

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Lead incubation initiatives: Develop and execute strategies/pilots that are scalable to Valvoline's 1,900+ locations.
  • Change management: Design and implement change management programs to support organizational change and transition.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment, buy-in, and support for transformation efforts.
  • Process improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to optimize processes and operational efficiency.
  • Technology adoption: Seek out new technologies and processes, ensuring the core business is aware and has the ability to adapt.
  • Training and development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are equipped to adapt to new processes and tools.
  • Measurement and evaluation: Establish metrics to measure the impact of incubation initiatives and track progress over time.
  • Leadership and support: Provide leadership and support to project teams, facilitating effective communication and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Project management: Apply project management principles to ensure the successful implementation of incubation initiatives.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years of retail experience
  • Minimum of three years of multi-unit management experience
  • Experience managing/maintaining vendor partnerships
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Automotive industry experience (powertrain agnostic, heavy-duty, automotive service center) preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
